“There is another image of Tārā (15 century A.D.) worshipped as Ugra Tārā at Bhusandapur of Puri District. She is dark blue complexion placing her left leg on the breast of śiva, who is lying like a corpse on the funeral pyre. She is of short stature, terrible in appearance and dressed in a tiger skin, she wears a garland of severed human heads, she is four- armed, three-eyed.”
